Students will design, implement, and analyze a real-world Deliberative Polling project in collaboration with Stanford’s Center for Deliberative Democracy, gaining hands-on experience in research, civic engagement, and public deliberation.

This course examines how AI can enhance democratic deliberation, focusing on the Stanford Online Deliberation Platform. Students will explore AI’s role in participation, ethics, governance, and its challenges in democracy.
